The students of GRV School and College of Nursing actively participated in the National Pulse Polio Programme conducted in the Devanahalli Taluk area from 28 June 2026 to 01 July 2026.
As part of this nationwide immunization initiative, our nursing students worked in coordination with the Health Department and local health workers to administer Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) to children below five years of age and to create awareness among parents regarding the importance of polio immunization.
The students rendered dedicated service at vaccination booths and during field outreach activities, ensuring that eligible children received the life-saving polio drops. Their enthusiastic participation reflected the institution’s commitment to community health, disease prevention, and social responsibility.
GRV School and College of Nursing appreciates the sincere efforts of all participating students, faculty members, and health officials for contributing to the success of the National Pulse Polio Programme and supporting India's mission to keep every child protected from polio.
